How to set the default file formats in office 2007 using group policy
- Get the Office 2007 group policy templates from the Microsoft website
Start > Run > gpedit.msc
- Right click on Administrative Templates and select Add/Remove Templates
- Click Add and select all the adm files you downloaded in step 1
Under the entries in User Configuration > Administrative Templates set the default format to Office 97-2003 format
