How to enable multi-region playback on Samsung DVD-HD860
- Turn on the device with no disc in the tray. The onscreen display will then read "No Disk".
- Press the "Repeat" key on the Samsung remote control.
- Then input the following code: "5 7 5 3 8" on the remote. Number then 2 appears onscreen for a short time.
- Then press "9". Number 9 is then displayed onscreen for a short time. You've now changed the region code on your player from 2 to 9 (all regions)
- Finally, switch the player off (using the "On/off" button) and then back on again and you should be able to play discs from another region (US region 1 discs, etc).
